Cara y Cara in Spanish translates to "face to face", which is what you will be with 10-15 Caribbean reef sharks!  The dive site is unique in that the sharks have not been chummed away from another location to create a tourist attraction, this is their natural habitat.

 

You will descend about 70 feet to a sandy bottom, where you will line up against a small coral wall and watch as the majestic creatures glide through the water.  Unlike other shark experiences where you remain stationary the entire dive merely as an observer, if the current is not too strong, you may get the thrilling experience of becoming part of the action and actually swimming with these sharks.  Everyone will want to see this vacation video at your next party!  You may even find a shark tooth in the sand to take home as a souvenier.
